NBC has finally revealed the premiere date of its upcoming highly anticipated thriller series, Hannibal.
As per the announcement, the series would premiere on April 4th at 10 PM. David Slade would direct the pilot episode of this series which would revolve around the most famous serial killer in the cinema history, Dr. Hannibal Lecter.
Mads Mikkelsen is playing the role of De. Hannibal and the choice seem great.
The central character of the series is Will Graham who is a highly talented criminal profiler and has tracked down several serial killers for FBI. The secret of his success is his remarkable analytical skills and the ability of empathize with people. However, he seems to be having problems with the latest case of a twisted serial killer.
After struggling with the case for a while, he seeks help from Dr. Hannibal Lecter, one of the leading psychiatrists of the country.
Together, both of them solve several complex cases and their team proves to be highly successful. However, there are dark secrets about Dr. Lecter that Will is unaware of.
And we are sure those dark secrets of Dr. Lecter would be the essence of the series. Trailer and poster from the series have also been released and now all we await is 4th of April which is not very far off.
